The Bengals are quickly addressing the safety need by meeting with Kurt Coleman formerly with the Carolina Panthers. The Veteran was drafted in the 7th round by the Eagles in 2010 from Ohio State. He signed with the Eagles for four years then was picked up by the Vikings then was cut and picked up by the Chiefs. Then he was cut and was picked up by the Panthers which is where he made his name.
He was also visited by the Saints. The Bengals have more cap room and looks like they will be using it sparingly also. Coleman isn’t a huge free agent but he is solid and will come cheap as a veteran.
