Jake Fisher Is Back

Jake Fisher hasn’t had the best of a career so far but he has come back from an atrial fibrillation. He is back in the gym hitting the weights. Now the question is: Can Frank Pollack resurrect Fisher’s career. The former 2nd round draft pick is in his final year on his rookie contract and he hasn’t looked great.

One thing that was brought up is whether he can transition to another position on the offensive line. The Center position needs to be addressed to replace Russell Bodine. It was brought up before that Bodine has very small arm length for a Center which throws off his center of gravity. Fisher has the length but does he have the mental toughness to be a Center ( the head communication of the offensive line ). He has the body type and the strength. Resurrecting his career in this matter can be a chance the Bengals are willing to try.
