Getting Back To A Top Ten Offensive Line

There is no question in anyones mind that in order to get back to the playoffs; the Bengals need to get that top ten Offensive Line back. Obviously last season was a disaster without Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler. The best thing we found out was Cedrick Ogbuehi and Jake Fisher tanked as first and second rounders in 2015.

In the last two games of 2017 Bill Lazor had no choice but to revamp the offensive line with great success. Christian Westerman took left guard and Alex Redmond platoon with him. Then they move Trey Hopkins to right guard. The offense went from only averaging 74 yards rushing a game to 147 yards a game when they revamped and only allowed 2 sacks.

I wont say that is the answer but there is hope to change the line in the two year span they have to get everything done. It isn’t customdownload (11)mary to see Mike Brown go after top Free Agents in any position but in the short time span i would love to see two top offensive lineman taken through Free Agency. Andrew Norwell and D.J. Fluker come to mind immediately because they are affordable and young. Then of course i would go Offensive line in the draft first and 2nd rounds.

The Bengals are not to far off from getting to the playoffs again. If they fix the line this year then I can’t wait to talk about finally getting that first playoff victory we been waiting for nearly 3 decades.

WHO DEY!!!!!
